A 14-year-old freshman from Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein turned himself in to police Tuesday in regards to allegations of sexting and cyberbullying of a female Warren Township High School student.

The student was referred to the juvenile court system with one count of distribution of child pornography, Gurnee Police Cmdr. David Farrow said Tuesday.

Officials recently said four other students were under investigation as well in the case.
