Chicago man accused of impersonating U.S. marshal

Federal prosecutors say a Chicago man has been arrested for impersonating a U.S. Marshals Service employee.

Thirty-seven-year-old Robert P. Rozycki was arrested Wednesday by deputy U.S. marshals.

He is charged with two felony counts of impersonating a U.S. Marshals Service employee in an indictment returned by a federal grand jury on Tuesday and unsealed after his arrest.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports Rozycki has already been convicted and served time for pretending to be a police officer, burglary and pretending the be a Chicago Fire Department bomb and arson investigator.

The most recent charges stem from two incidents last year when he allegedly impersonated a federal agent.
