Get update on routes 38 and 31 paving projects in St. Charles

The city of St. Charles offers an update on the paving projects currently underway on routes 38 and 31.

Route 38: Plote Construction completed the first layer of asphalt pavement in the St. Charles section of the project (western city limits to South 14th Street/Bricher Road). The contractor will continue with the final paving starting at Route 47 working east to the City of Geneva. Completion is anticipated within the next two to three weeks.

Route 31: Geneva Construction notified the city that they will begin milling Route 31 from the northern city limits to Wildrose Springs Drive this week. The structure adjustments and paving work is anticipated to start the following week. During the work, traffic will be reduced to one lane, so please allow extra time and be careful of flaggers on site.
