Shipping season ends in Twin Ports
DULUTH, Minn. (AP) - The shipping season has come to an end with the last inbound ship arriving in the Twin Ports.
The John G. Munson pulled into port Tuesday. Crews will spend the next couple of months doing routine repairs and maintenance at Fraser Shipyards in Superior, Wisconsin.
WDIO-TV says (http://bit.ly/1sXY3pw ) the 2015 shipping season will get underway in late March, about the time the Soo Locks reopen March 25.
