River Road to reopen in Lake Barrington:

Work continues near the intersection of Roberts and River roads in Lake Barrington with the expected opening of River Road by the end of the week, weather permitting. Temporary pavement and temporary signals have been installed, and crews continue with pavements markings, power hook up to the signals and relocation of the barrier wall. Motorists should expect heavy delays during the morning and afternoon rush hours. Possible daily lane closures beyond those times on Roberts Road may be needed for hauling material and other work.
