Carbon dioxide getting a bad rap

Carbon dioxide gets alot of bad press lately. Did you know Co2 is only .04 percent of Mother Earth’s atmosphere. Many complain about Humans causing increases in Co2 levels which they say is causing climate change. The climate has been changing since the Earth was born around 4.5 billion years ago. Earth had the Ice Age long before humans and the industrial revolution.

Without Co2, plants cannot live and therefore humans and animals cannot survive. Thankfully, Mother Earth is alive and produces enough Co2 from volcanic eruptions and forest fires to keep the Co2 levels at the .04 percent we need for life to exist. We should be more concerned about Co2 levels declining to a point where plants will die. Plants take in Co2 and produce oxygen. We need oxygen to survive. The minimal increases caused by humans is basically insignificant compared to what Mother Earth produces each year.

Don’t believe everything you hear from the climate change folks. Do your own research. The USA has done more in the last 50 years to reduce pollution than any other country on the planet. Co2 is not a pollutant. Co2 is required to support life as we know it. Plant more trees.
