Maintaining a modest, balanced budget

I am writing to urge Elgin Township residents to Vote for Annette Miller the Elgin Township Supervisor and Trustees Vicki Pelock, Pat Hudgens, Randy Endean and Bob Johnson.

These candidates have consistently supported Elgin Seniors through the Elgin Township Triad program for senior safety and the Elgin Senior Center and they maintain a modest balanced budget with low real estate taxes.

Elgin Township partners with area governments and local service agencies to prevent overlap of services and prudently meet the needs of the community.

Elgin Township is run more efficiently than most governments and there is no reason to believe that the new opposition "tax and spend" candidates will do anything but spread falsehoods during the election cycle and then increase taxes and spending if elected.

Elgin Township has consistently provided open and responsive government with sound financial management and excellent service to citizens in the mandated areas of roads, property appraisals and government assistance.
