St. Charles library offers 'Healthy Brain, Healthy Memory'
The St. Charles Public Library will host educational psychologist Dr. Linda Sasser as she presents "Healthy Brain, Healthy Memory" at noon Wednesday, May 20, in the Huntley Meeting Room, 1 S. Sixth Ave.
In this educational and entertaining presentation, Sasser will share facts about the brain and activities which can help maintain and even improve brain function. She will also discuss how memory works, ageārelated memory changes and strategies for improving retention and recall.
For more than 25 years, Sasser has been studying and presenting on the issues impacting brain and memory health. Sasser has an M.A. and Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a former education professor at Judson University in Elgin and Wheaton College.
