1 seriously injured after car drives into department story

NEWARK, Calif. (AP) - Police say a 63-year-old woman seems to have lost control of her car before driving into a department store in Northern California and injuring four people, one seriously.

KGTO-TV reports (http://abc7ne.ws/1C9t0qh ) police believe a medical emergency caused the woman to drive into a department store in the city of Newark.

Fire spokeswoman Aisha Knowles says the car went 50 feet into the store at a shopping mall.

She says four people were injured and at least two more people had panic attacks.
