Barrington professional women's group marks 5th anniversary

The Barrington chapter of the Dynamic Professional Women's Network will celebrate its fifth anniversary this month, with an event that will double as a fundraiser for Marklund, a residential care facility that serves infants, children and adults with developmental disabilities.

The anniversary celebration takes place from 5:30-9 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at Pinstripes, 100 W. Higgins Road in South Barrington. The $20 admission includes a raffle ticket, one drink ticket and appetizers.

Organizers hope to raise money at the event to purchase an activity chair for the Marklund Day School. For more information, visit dpwomen.com.
