Dist. 15 names new principal of Palatine school

Palatine Township Elementary District 15 has named a new principal of Hunting Ridge Elementary School.

Kristine Seifert will lead the Palatine school starting July 1.

For the last four years, she has served as the assistant principal at Virginia Lake Elementary School in Palatine.

She began her career with the district as a teacher at Central Road Elementary School in Rolling Meadows.

Seifert holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Purdue University and two master's degrees: in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University Chicago in River Forest and in administration from Aurora University.
