Enrollment woes?

Bring back football.

The state of Oregon was having the same problem of community colleges trying to beat the enrollment slump in four of their junior colleges. Their study found that students, particularly young males, did not want to attend a school without a viable sports team, namely football.

The four added a football program, increased enrollment and brought balance back between male and female students.

I note that College of DuPage has a strong football program, while the others do not. Harper College did have a strong program; but dropped it a couple of years ago ... and saw enrollment drop.
