Gov. Rauner, don't back down
Do you know who Michael Madigan is? According to Investors Business Daily he is the Illinois House speaker-for-life.
Guess what? He likes the status quo. Let the state go down the tubes. Ignore the state constitution and submit a budget that is higher than estimated funds.
That is not legal, but so what? He is a Democrat leader and can do anything he wants and his buddies follow along.
People are leaving, businesses are leaving but the Democrats do not care, just raise taxes and all will be OK.
Gov. Rauner, do not back down! Force the inattentive public to reject the ruling fiscally irresponsible so-called representatives and save our state.
