Rosemont adds new haunted house operator

Rosemont is contracting with a new operator for the annual Halloween haunted house in the village's entertainment district.

The village board last week approved an agreement with Disturbing Productions, LLC, which will produce and operate the haunted house in the basement of the parking garage of MB Financial Park at Rosemont. The company also operates a haunted house in Addison.

The agreement allows for the haunted house to be in operation at select times beyond the Halloween season, to accommodate certain convention shows at the nearby Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.

The village is due to receive 30 percent of net profits, and will split marketing costs with the operator.
