Palatine man guilty of head-butting an officer

A Palatine man who police say head butted an officer responding to a domestic disturbance last November pleaded guilty to the charge, court records show. Jordan T. Nichols, 31, pleaded guilty to aggravated battery of a police officer in January and was sentenced to three years in prison, court records show.
Nichols received credit for 102 days in custody. He must complete at least 50 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.
