Beer and wine tasting benefit:

The Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic & Center Foundation presents its annual wine and beer tasting Saturday, Dec. 6, at the civic center, on Hook Drive just west of Route 83 in Round Lake Beach. Wine and beer tasting and hors d'oeuvres will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with "Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus" presented by the Round Lake Area Park District to follow. Tickets are $25 per person and include the tasting, appetizers, holiday production and a dessert table. Proceeds benefit the International Children's Film Festival.
