River Road closing in Lake Barrington July 13 for roundabout construction

River Road between Kelsey and Roberts roads in Lake Barrington will close for about five months beginning Monday, July 13, for construction of a roundabout at the intersection of River and Roberts, the Lake County Division of Transportation announced Tuesday.

A detour will take drivers along Roberts Road to Route 59 to Kelsey Road. Local traffic will have access to residences and businesses, from the south, within the closure area.
