Special meal deals offered during Des Plaines Restaurant Week

Des Plaines Restaurant Week kicked off Friday with 20 restaurants offering special menus and deals to entice foodies.

Restaurants are offering $6, $12, $18 and $24 menu deals through Oct. 25. Participating locations are American Wildburger, Café la Cave, Charcoal Delights, Ching Hua's, Club Casa Café, Countryside Saloon, Don's Dock, Dotombori, Evan's Place, Giacomo's, Giuseppe's, Illusion Bar Grill Cafe, Katie's Kitchen, Little Villa, Mexico Restaurant, Rand Red Hots, Taco Village, Tap House Grill, Thai Square and Via Roma.
