New doctor's office in downtown Des Plaines

A new doctor's office is opening in downtown Des Plaines in December.

Harken Health is opening a location at 1535 Ellinwood St., offering unlimited primary care visits to those who sign up for memberships.

A business reception and ribbon cutting with the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce is at 10 a.m. Dec. 4, followed by an open house with gifts, prizes and raffles until 6 p.m. A group yoga session is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Harken Health has 10 care centers in the Atlanta and Chicago metropolitan markets.
