Noland needs to admit mistake
Who says politicians never learn from their mistakes?
Shortly after his election to the state senate, Mike Noland sent out an invitation to his holiday party in which he told women to "wear jeans and a cute top." When questioned about it by the Daily Herald, Noland said he saw nothing wrong with that request.
Six years later, Noland is running for the U.S. Congress and (at least) his invitation to this year's holiday party doesn't tell women how to dress.
But now there's another issue Noland needs to address ...
Earlier this year, after Governor Bruce Rauner slashed state funding for autism, HIV/AIDS and epilepsy treatment the Illinois Senate voted 57-1 to restore those funds.
Mike Noland was the only senator who stood with Rauner and voted no.
Will we have to wait six years for Noland to acknowledge that mistake?
