Annual fishing derby set for Sept. 27 in Busse Woods

Cook County Commissioner Tim Schneider's annual fishing derby is Sunday, Sept. 27, at Busse Woods Grove 25, part of the Forest Preserve District's "100 Years, 100 Events" centennial celebration. The free event is 9 a.m. to noon and open to all ages. Cabela's will provide prizes for the participants. A fishing license will not be required, but bring your own fishing gear.
