Hampshire man ejected from vehicle in Hoffman Estates crash

A 28-year-old Hampshire man was being treated at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge on Monday after being ejected from his vehicle in a rollover crash Sunday near westbound Higgins Road and Prairie Stone Parkway in Hoffman Estates.

Police responded to a report of a crash at about 6:35 p.m. and found the vehicle lying on its roof on top of the railroad tracks there. The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was found several feet away.

The Hoffman Estates Traffic Crash Investigation Team is continuing to investigate, according to police.
