NCH offers free programs for seniors in December

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (December 4, 2015) - Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) is hosting several free programs for adults over age 55 in December at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road, Arlington Heights. To register for the following programs at the Senior Center, call 847-253-5532. You do not need to be an Arlington Heights resident to attend.

• Wednesday, December 9 - Healthy cooking demo: Dairy-free eggnog - 9 to 10 a.m.

• Wednesday, December 9 - Managing your diabetes 101 - 9 to 10:30 a.m.

• Thursday, December 10 - Anxiety education and support group - 10 to 11 a.m.

• Thursday, December 10 - Music and the brain - 11 a.m. to noon

• Wednesday, December 16 - Parkinson's support group - 6:30 to 8 p.m.

• Thursday, December 17 - Stroke support group - 2 to 3:30 p.m.
