Special Holiday Traffic Enforcement Program, Roadside Checkpoint December 19

Arlington Heights Police will be conducting specialized traffic enforcement activities of "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" from December 18, 2015 through January 3, 2016.

Enforcement activities will include numerous impaired driving saturation patrols and a Roadside Safety Checkpoint. The checkpoint will take place the night of Saturday, December 19, 2015 on Arlington Heights Road south of Algonquin Road.

Officers working the campaign will be attempting to identify and cite motorists who are driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or are committing other traffic-related offenses. The campaigns are funded with federal traffic safety funds, which are administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation - Division of Transportation Safety.
