Elgin wins Larkin Invite title

The Elgin High School girls tennis team won its first tournament championship in five years Saturday and its first under head coach Dan Charak, claiming the crown at the Larkin Invitational.

The Maroons beat out Larkin, Elgin Academy and Streamwood to win the title.

Dahlia Keonavongsa took first place at No. 1 singles for Elgin, while Maroon Emely Flores claimed the title at No. 2 singles.
