Author of Mr. Rogers book to visit Lake Villa library via Zoom

Matthew Cordell, author and illustrator of "Hello Neighbor! The Kind and Caring World of Mister Rogers," will virtually visit Lake Villa District Library at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 26.

Cordell's book, the only authorized picture-book of Fred Rogers, was selected by library staff to complement the 2020 reading program, 'Summer in the Neighborhood', which celebrates the life and legacy of Rogers. Cordell will discuss what it was like to write and illustrate the life story of an American icon. Visit www.lvdl.org/events to register and to receive the link to the Zoom event.
