Larkin 2nd in regional

The Larkin boys bowling team finished second at the Westminster Christian regional Saturday to advance to next weekend's Stevenson sectional.

Senior Bryan Sheridan (1,355), senior Adrian Kyles (1,162), junior Aaron Golden (1,115) and sophomore David Weaver (1,015) led the Royals.

South Elgin also advanced by finishing fourth. Senior Jake Brown (1,241) led the Storm.

Individual qualifiers included Brandon Biondo of Jacobs, Andrew Howard of Westminster, Alex Cariello and Nick Scumaci of Bartlett, Lowell Lynde IV of Elgin, Brian Cremeens of Burlington Central and Nick Christensen of Streamwood.

Huntley's Jesse Alcasid and Grant Gardner advanced from the Marengo regional.
