Barrington improves to 2-1

Barrington's baseball team improved to 2-1 on Thursday while on its trip in Georgia.

The Broncos topped Bob Jones High School (Alabama) 5-1, getting a pair of hits and 2 RBI from Jake Coon.

Teammates Casey Dodge and Zach Balogh also had 2 hits apiece.

Barrington sophomore Brooks Gosswein picked up the win in his first varsity start. Gosswein struck out 5 and allowed one run, which was unearned in just over 6 innings.
