K40 Electronics surprises Dundee Boys and Girls Club with $50,000 donation
K40 Electronics in Elgin continues its commitment to making a difference in the lives of children in the local community by supporting the mission of the Boys and Girls Club of Dundee Township.
On Dec. 9, K40 Electronics president Peggy Finley and her entire staff presented the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township Leadership Team with an early holiday gift…in the form of a $50,000 donation.
Since 2010, K40 has provided more than $400,000 in support to Boys and Girls Club of Dundee Township, including supplying audio/visual equipment and a 15-passenger van for transportation needs. It is both through in-kind gifts and ash donations. Each employee at K40 donates a portion of his or her profit sharing directly back to the Carpentersville-based nonprofit, a practice that is supported throughout the company.
