Huntley 7, Cary-Grove 3: Hayley O'Mara was 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and Megan Larson went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI as the Red Raiders (18-7, 5-4) won in the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division. Haley Spannraft was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Huntley and Jessica Shields added 2 hits and an RBI, Losing pitcher Caitlyn Adams and Alyssa Gurgone (2B) each had 2 hits for Cary-Grove (9-17, 3-7). Tiffany Giese picked up the win, allowing 8 hits with 2 strikeouts and no walks.
St. Charles North 12, Larkin 0: Sam Wahl, Jocelyn Jimenez and Haley Bohne each had a hit for Larkin (5-22, 4-14) in this Upstate Eight River loss. Emily Rojo was the losing pitcher.
DeKalb 8, Burlington Central 2: Kassi Gaylord had a double and drove in both runs for the Rockets (15-15) in this nonconference loss. Emily Kisch went 3-for-4 for BC and Courtni Neubauer was the losing pitcher.
CL Central 5, Hampshire 4: In the FVC Fox, Haley Widmayer, Peyton DeChant and Melissa Esparaza each had 2 hits for Hampshire (11-16, 6-6). Widmayer suffered the loss.
McHenry 6, CL South 0: Kim Woods had the only hit for the Gators (16-9, 3-6) in this FVC Valley loss. Hailee Massie was the losing pitcher.
Streamwood loses 2: The Sabres fell twice to Geneva in the UEC River, 11-0 and 16-6. Jessica Daley had a double for Streamwood (8-20, 5-15) in Game 2.
