Castro nets 18 for Christian Liberty

Christian Liberty's girls basketball team improved to 7-3 with a 48-23 triumph at Mooseheart on Tuesday night.

The Chargers were led in the Northeastern Athletic Conference game by Melissa Castro (18 points) and Julia Wolke (13 points).

Teammate Audrey Law added 8 points.

Maine East 46, Niles North 38: On Monday night, Maine East raised its record to 2-5 and 1-1 in the Central Suburban North.

Mahima Chokshi led the Blue Demons with 14 points while Colleen Oribello added 12.
