Biddle, Hoffman Estates run to victory

Meagan Biddle paced a winning effort for the Hoffman Estates girls cross country team on Wednesday as the Hawks topped Fremd 19-37 on the 3.1-mile course at Hoover Elementary in Schaumburg.

Biddle finished in 19:41, just ahead of teammate Allison Schrader (19:50). Hoffman Estates also claimed the fourth, fifth and seventh spots.

Fremd's top competitor was Nora Finegan, who finished third in 20:34.

Palatine d. Schaumburg: A 1-2 finish from Kelly O'Brien and Sam Lechowicz helped Palatine earn a 24-31 decision over Schaumburg at Deer Grove East.

O'Brien was in command with a 17:43 effort, with Lechowicz coming in at 18:14.

Schaumburg grabbed the 3-4 spots with Madie Marasco and Lauren Kubinski.
