St. Peter's students to put on 'The Wizard of Oz'

Experience the timeless tale of adventure and homecoming as "The Wizard of Oz" is presented by the students of St. Peter's School in Geneva this weekend.

Featuring a cast and crew of over 50, this beloved family musical comes to life with wonderful songs including "Over the Rainbow," "If I Only Had a Brain," and "We're Off to See the Wizard." Based on the beloved story by L. Frank Baum, the St. Peter's students (fifth to eighth grade) will bring the story of Dorothy from her home in Kansas all the way down the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. Performances will be 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, and 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in St. Peter's gymnasium, 1881 Kaneville Road in Geneva.
