Providence 40, Carmel 39: Emma Rappe banked in a shot just after the final buzzer sounded, and the visiting Corsairs dropped a heartbreaker in East Suburban Catholic Conference play Wednesday night.

Kathleen Felicelli and Leah Lach scored 14 and 12 points, respectively, for Carmel (19-8, 3-6). Rappe finished with 6 points.
