Antioch rolls ahead, reaches 11-0
Antioch's unbeaten season in girls basketball continued Thursday with a 74-31 victory over North Chicago.
The Sequots led 13-2 at the end of the first quarter and had extended the advantage to 22 points by halftime.
Sisters Amy and Ashley Reiser paced Antioch with 16 and 11 points, respectively. Kelly Johnson added 12 points.
Ashley Reiser also had 9 rebounds and 5 steals while Amy Reiser added 9 assists.
Antioch is now 11-0 on the season.
Naperville North 56, Vernon Hills 39: Kayla Caudle scored 12 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and blocked 4 shots but it wasn't enough as Vernon Hills fell to Naperville North at the Naperville North/Benet Invite.
Dakiya Daniels and Becky Bahlmann added 8 and 7 points respectively for the Cougars.
