Lake Villa library scholarships available

High school seniors graduating in 2018 who are pursuing a two- or four-year degree can apply for the Friends of Lake Villa District Library scholarship.

Two $1,000 scholarships are available for qualifying seniors who live in Lake Villa Township and attend any accredited college, university or vocational school. An acceptance or wait-list letter from their school of choice and a verified, unweighted cumulative GPA or SAT score is required.

Scholarship applications are available at www.lvdl.org/friends and will be shared with local high school guidance counselors. Deadline is Feb. 26.
