Rehire Dr. Faraone, if he'll have you

It continues to be of no surprise that DuPage County officials have once again been lacking in their decision-making processes, if any, went into the dismissal of Dr. Todd Faraone.

James Joseph needs to be accountable as well as the county board for their morally objectionable decision with no thought of the consequences to the animals, staff and volunteers who are left to their own devices to care for the animals.

This situation will certainly affect the residents of DuPage County as the work of the animal control officers rescuing animals that are lost, diseased, injured or in peril will not have a full-time veterinarian on staff to administer emergency care.

Shame on all involved in the dismissal of Dr. Faraone. Hire him back, if he will have you!
