Concert pays tribute to Johnny Cash and June Carter

The Northwest Suburban Community Concert Association, in partnership with District 214 Community Education, announced that its final concert of the 2014-2015 season will feature June's Got the Cash performing "A Tribute to Johnny Cash and June Carter" at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at Forest View Educational Center Theater, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, in Arlington Heights.

The Broadway-styled tribute show celebrates the music of Johnny Cash and June Carter. What started off as a simple tribute band has now blossomed into a traveling musical theater show. The show is scripted with bits of comedic jokes along with vintage costume changes, stage props and all of Johnny and June's favorite hits from the '50s, '60s, and '70s.

Tickets are $20 for adults; free for children in grades K-12 with a paying adult.
