Coroner identifies woman killed by car in Elgin

A pedestrian killed when hit by a car last Friday night in Elgin has been identified.
The Kane County Coroner’s Office says Mayra G. Mendoza, 35, of Pingree Grove, was killed after being hit by at least one vehicle.
Elgin police are investigating the death.
