Dist. 54 Foundation raises $31,000 for schools

Picture-perfect weather enabled eager golfers to enjoy the Schaumburg Township Elementary School Foundation's 17th annual golf outing held at Schaumburg Golf Club on Monday, June 9.

The event, sponsored by Nicholas & Associates, offered contests on all three courses and ended with a $10,000 putting contest, barbecue dinner buffet, winning team prizes and silent auction.

Proceeds will support the foundation's mission of excellence in education by funding innovative programs not covered by school budgets or tax dollars.

A huge thank you to all of the sponsors, golfers, donors and volunteers, all of whom contributed to the success of this signature event.
