Elgin resident accused of biting off man's fingertip

Josue Garcia, 24, of the 400 block of Sunset Drive in Elgin, was charged Wednesday with two counts of aggravated domestic battery after he bit off another man's fingertip and punched the victim in the face, breaking his nose, court records show.

Garcia's bail was set at $3,500 in Kane County bond court, and he is next due in court Dec. 16.
