Elmhurst man pleads guilty to molesting boy

An Elmhurst man pleaded guilty to molesting a young boy earlier this year at a Rolling Meadows hotel, court records show.
Michael Welch, 33, pleaded guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a felony punishable by up to seven years in prison, and was sentenced to four years in prison, according to court records.
Welch, who must register as a sex offender, received credit for 124 days in custody. He was also ordered to pay $704 in fines.
