Schaumburg Township starting memory-loss support group

Schaumburg Township is starting a new support group for people living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia or memory loss, and their care partners.

Bridges to Memory is a free social program that will meet from 2 to 3:30 p.m. every fourth Wednesday of the month, beginning June 26, at the township building, 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates.

Each session features various activities such as reminiscence, arts and crafts, chair yoga, music and more.

First-time registration is required.
