St. Charles library to offer free college search workshop

The St. Charles Public Library is offering a presentation for high school students and parents who are beginning the college search process.

"Making Your College Search Count" will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, in the library's Huntley Meeting Room, 1 S. Sixth Ave.

This presentation will cover the college admission process, including campus visits, application tips, financial assistance and finding the right school for you. Julie Nelson, regional recruitment director for Xavier University, brings a wealth of information from her more than 20-year career, and can answer any questions or concerns you may have about the admission process.
