Schaumburg library book sale Sept. 12

A book sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, in the basement of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Used paperbacks will sell for 50 cents apiece, while hardcovers will sell for $1. Audiovisual items, such as DVDs and CDs, will sell for 50 cents each. Nearly all genres of fiction and nonfiction books and DVDs will be available.

The entrance to the library's basement is on the south side of the building, facing the former Dominick's store.

As with any of the library's events, children 8 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
