Smithton village worker accused of meth possession
SMITHTON, Ill. (AP) - A worker for a southwestern Illinois village is free on bond after being accused of illegally possessing methamphetamines.
The Belleville News-Democrat (http://bit.ly/1w5QGHw) reports that St. Clair County prosecutors charged 32-year-old Scott Reinhold on Thursday with the felony drug count.
The Smithton village's website identifies Reinhold as a streets and utilities employee.
Mayor Ray Klein says Reinhold is now on unpaid suspension.
Online court records do not show whether Reinhold has an attorney.
