Police: Man's body found in sewer on Chicago's South Side

CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago police say a man's body has been discovered in a sewer on the city's South Side.

WBBM-TV reports the body was found in the Englewood neighborhood near where a man disappeared last month.

WBBM says the body of the adult male has not been identified.

Seventy-six-year-old Vasuvareddy Kethireddy of Rolling Meadows was last seen on a nearby bank's security video on Aug. 4. Kethireddy routinely collected rents every month in the neighborhood, and his car was discovered in an alley there Aug. 7. The sewer is located near the alley.

Police said they are conducting a death investigation.
