Cougars get stung by Bees

The Burlington Bees beat the Kane County Cougars 8-3 at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark in Geneva on Thursday.

The Cougars (15-19) trailed 8-0 in the sixth when Marty Herum had a 2-run single and Ryan Hutchison delivered an RBI double.

The Cougars embark on a seven-game road trip tonight at 6:35 p.m. when they start Markus Solbach (2-2, 3.09 ERA) against Timber Rattlers right-hander Joshua Torres at Appleton, Wisconsin.
