Marlins reliever Dunn agrees to $5.8 million, 2-year deal

MIAMI (AP) - Left-hander Mike Dunn has agreed to a $5.8 million, two-year contract with the Miami Marlins and avoided arbitration.

Dunn's sports agency tweeted an announcement of the deal Sunday, and the Marlins confirmed an agreement.

He gets $2.35 million and $3.45 million in 2016. He can earn $100,000 in performance bonuses in 2016 bases on innings: $50,000 each for 55 and 60.

Dunn went 10-6 with a 3.16 ERA in 57 innings for Miami last year, all in relief. This season will be his fifth with the Marlins, and he has a 3.36 career ERA.
