Three die in crash on Wisconsin highway

ONALASKA, Wis. - Three people have died in a head-on crash on Highway 35 north of Onalaska in western Wisconsin.

It happened about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at Highway Z. The La Crosse County Sheriff's Office says the initial call said it was a crash between two cars, but deputies arrived to find a third car involved.

Authorities confirm that three people died, but have not released names, ages, or where the victims were from.

The crash closed Highway 35 for several hours.
